It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George King (St John's, Newfoundland), born in Grates Cove, Newfoundland, who passed away on September 29, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Berkley King and Mary King of Grates Cove; his wife Lorraine; his siblings, Stella (Jim), Gertie (Dan), Ruby (Gordon), Judy and Leslie; and his siblings-in-law, Catherine, Val Littlejohn (Viola) and William Trickett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela and Dale (Benedict Whelan); his grandson Jonathan; his brothers, Eldon (Margaret) and Carson (Lynne); and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Trickett, Sim Driscoll and Max Littlejohn (Rebecca). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
