It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald James Upshall (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Upshall and Alice Upshall; and his siblings, Joe, Nelson, George, Doug, Blanche and Florence.
He is survived by: his children, Wanda Stack (Tony), Paula Birmingham (Andy), Carla Joy, Jerry Upshall (Anna) and Jonathon Upshall; his brother Ralph Upshall (Doreen); his grandchildren, Shane Stack, Grace Upshall, Alexander Upshall, Liam Joy, Sebastian Upshall, Kylie Upshall and Alice Upshall; and his nephews, Clayton Upshall and David Smith.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carnell's Funeral Home (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3). The inurnment will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
