He is survived by: his children, Gerald (Shelly), Cindy, Cathy (Glenn), Colleen, Ron (Sue), Dean and John; his grandchildren, Kenny (Simone), Chris (Jess), Jessy (Allan), Lindsay (Jacob), Ferenc (Anna), Mary Kate, Hannah (Nathan), Aaron, Matthew (Megan), Sydney (Curtis), Victor (Jordan), Paige and Addison; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Conor, William, Charlie, Madison, Mason, Mercer and Jonas; his sisters, Audrey (Max), Mary (Israel), Marilyn (Al) and Marie; his sisters-in-law, Lillian, Gloria and Daphne; and his brother Lloyd Higdon (Vina). He is also survived by his many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Home (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Barrett's Chapel (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9).
