He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Russell and Gwendolyn Russell (Mercer); his aunts and uncles, Bertram, Mildred Mercer, David and Dorothy Russell; his father-in-law George (Elizabeth Easton); his wife Cynthia Easton-Russell; his son-in-law Andrew; his grandson Alexander; his brother-in-law George Easton; his friend Lois Downton; and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Mercer Binetti, Glen, Alan Russell, Rob, Susan Russell, Keith Russell, David, Christopher DesRoches, Geoffrey, Pamela, Penny, Jill, Tiffany, Holly, Janet, Danielle, Jason, Elizabeth and Sean.

They did many stay-cations all over Newfoundland before Covid made them popular!
