He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys Smith; his parents, Maxwell Smith and Ethel Smith; and his brother Frank Smith. He is survived by: his children, Jacki Ballard and Trevor Smith (Colleen); his grandchildren, Mark Ballard, Zachary Smith and Emily Smith; and his close friends, Elizabeth Boulos Ryan, Cathy Boulos, Elva, Luke Critch and Yvonne Besso.
