He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Maud and Ross; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth "Betty" Young. He is survived by: his wife Edith; his children, Raelene Young-Price (James) and Jennifer Young-Beach (Graham); his stepsons, Corey and Joseph Hayes; his grandson Ryland; his stepgrandson Devon; his siblings, Robert (late Elizabeth), Howe, Victor (Eileen), Rosalind (Bern) and Sharon (Patrick); and his siblings-in-law, Gail Hansford (Jim), Marjorie Snelgrove (late Gorden) and Sandy Ruby (Laurie).
