He was predeceased by: his parents, Emily and Alexander; and his siblings, Florence, Ruby, Ivy, William, Herbert, Alex, Neville and Douglas.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Joy Philpott; his sons, Nicholas (April) and Christian; and his grandsons, Maxwell, Fletcher and Henry.
