He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Critch; his parents, James Critch and Blanche Critch; his sister Bernice Ash; his grandson David Dooley; and his great grandchild Richard Cadigan.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Ethridge (Joe), Glen Critch (Jackie) and Debbie Dooley; his grandchildren, Christopher Critch (Alana), Stephanie Dooley (Jason), April Duchesneau (Kelly), Vanessa Dooley (Jonathan) and Bradley Ethridge (Adena); his great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Marley Duchesneau, Michael, Emily Cadigan, Madison, Samantha and Logan Critch; and his brother Lorne Critch (Marjorie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Barrett's Chapel (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9).
