She was predeceased by: her husband William Joseph; her parents, Israel Penney and Susie Penney of King's Cove; her parents-in-law, Alan and Eileen Dooley of St. John's; her siblings, Harvey (Ethel), Howard, Claude, Gerald (Vera), Avis and Norma (Irving Clarke); her sister-in-law Grace Penney; and her nephew Harvey Penney.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Wood, Lana, William Jr. (Deborah), Gail Mouland (Wade), Kirk (Jacqueline), Dawn and Shane (Dianna); her grandchildren, William III, Selena, Jarrett, Alyssa, Alanna, Adam, Crystal, Jason, Kirk Jr., Craig, Kyle and Parker; her brother Cyril Penney; her niece Tina Fowler; and her close friend Molly Norman.
