She is survived by: her husband Derek; her children, Stephen (Kelsey Noakes), Nicole (Stephen Walsh), Danielle (Robert Pender) and Chelsey (Sam Gillard); her grandchildren, Lucas, Emily Walsh and Olivia Gillard; her sister Joan (Pah Baldeh); her nibling Tejan; her siblings, Faith (Philip Aylward) and Edward; her sister-in-law Judy Hann (Leslie); and her nephews, Michael (Jenna) and Nicholas.

“I was very saddened to hear of Janice's passing this week. Sincere condolences to Janice's husband, children and grandchildren. I worked with Janice for several years at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of N. I remember her talking about her family a lot with great pride, especially her 4 children. We shared lots of laughs as Janice enjoyed having fun. Janice would often comment "I'm some bad, isn't I" after she would say something silly. I'll always remember our years together! XOX”
