She was predeceased by: her husband Sturdee; her daughter Elizabeth Fern; her parents, Edward Penney and Ethel Penney; and her brothers, Donald (Betty), Fred (Ivy) and Cyril.

She is survived by: her children, Errol, David (Cindy) and Barbara; her grandchildren, Ally Blasy (David), Cassy Guthrie (Scott) and Matthew Collins; her great grandchild Violet Marie Blasy; and her sister-in-law Bernice Penney.

No flowers by request, but expressions of sympathy may be made to the Building/Restoration Fund at the Anglican Church of St. Mary the Virgin on Craigmiller Avenue, St. John's.
