She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Frederick White; her parents, George Matthew Ruby and Priscilla "Tilley" Ruby; her brother Winston Ruby; her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Fortington and Sean Wallace; and her nephews, Theodore Ruby and Craig Ruby.

She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy (Andrew McKillop) and Jennifer (Karl Sorensen); her grandchildren, Erik (Maria Colbert), Anna Sorensen, Morgan and Drew McKillop; her brother Byron; her siblings-in-law, Carol Ruby, Kelly Hayes, Barry Fortington (Camilla) and Susan Wallace; and her friends, Bev, Linda, Lynn, Janet, Pat and Elaine Boone. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
