John Hewson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Hewson (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on June 9, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Marjorie; his siblings, Meg, Kathleen, Betty, Joan, Aubrey, Arthur, Philip, David, Alexander and Robert; and his former wife Irene.

He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, David, Valerie, Paul (Lise Sorensen), Jean (Frank Parsons) and Anne (Ron Hoddinott); his brothers, Gerald, Charles, Keith and Andrew (Lesley); his siblings-in-law, Martin Sutcliffe, Paul Drover (Natalie), Patricia Hewson, Ruth Kennedy, Maxine Zimmerman (David), Anne Bird (Kevin) and Kathryn Drover; and his friends, Vit Bubenik and Derek.
