John Maxwell Parsons Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 2, 2023, at the age of 79, John Maxwell Parsons (St John's, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Rex; his friends, Neil Murray, Noel Dinn, Frank Hearn and Cabot Martin; Genevieve.
He is survived by: his friend John; his sister Joan Bowler (Paul); his nephew Robert Parsons (Gale); his nieces, Janet Parsons Davidson (Eric) and Laura Windrim (David); and his friends, Elaine Driessen, Bren Fahey, Patrick Laracy, Desmond McGrath, Elisabeth Mouland, Patrick O'Neil and Carl Schofield.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends humbly request that a donation be made in John's name to either of the MUN scholarships for The Neil Murray Graduate Research Award in Folklore and/or The Cabot Martin Award for Research in Regional Policy & Development or a charity of one's choice.
