It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jonah Benson (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Olga; his parents, Lydia Benson and Newman Benson; and his brother Ern. He is survived by: his children, Valerie Benson (Jason Byrne) and Stephen (Colleen); his grandchildren, Riley Byrne, Amanda and Michaela Benson (Jon Lee); and his sister Geneva (Ross Ivany).
