It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Simeon Pearcey (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on April 12, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Charlotte; his son David Pearcey; and his siblings, Cecil, Bill, Jack, Lucy, Jean, Frances and Anne.
He is survived by: his wife Madeline Pearcey; his children, Linda Dawe (Edgar), Paul (Donna) and Derek (Catherine); his daughter-in-law Judy; his grandchildren, Lisa Ryan (Doug), Kim Kelly (Trevor), Stephanie Luedee (Trevor), Keith Dawe (Bethany), Lauren (Brandon), Neal (Sara) and Brad; and his great grandchildren, Leah, Hannah, Sam, Anna, Ella, James and Rebecca. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
No flowers by request, donations in Joseph's memory can be made to Canadian Blood Services or the Royal Canadian Legion.
