Juanita (Hobbs) Lester Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on September 6, 2022, at the age of 88, Juanita (Hobbs) Lester (St John's, Newfoundland), born in Elliston, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James; her daughter Glenys (Phillip Gushue); her parents, Richard Hobbs and Helen Hobbs; and her sisters, Jean Abbott and Liz Hampton.
She is survived by: her siblings, Wilbur Hobbs, Joan Squires and Sandra Anderson (Earle); her sister-in-law Joan Chapman; her children, John (Mary), Colin (Patricia), Janet (Ian Dickieson), Carolyn Penney (Terry) and Tom (Karen); and her grandchildren, Heather, Jim (Michelle), Chris (Karen), Brad (Candice), Susan (Damian), Jill (Curtis), Craig, Nancy (Chris), Lindsay, Dale (Lyndsey), Ellan (Robert), Terrilyn (Brad) and Laura. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren plus 2 on the way; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Juanita's honor to the Alzheimer's Society of NL.
