With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laura Blanche Hammond (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on September 4, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Merrill Hammond; her parents, Warwick Tucker and Blanche Tucker; her brother Lloyd Tucker; and her brother-in-law Gilbert Tucker.

She is survived by : her siblings, Greta Tucker, Clarence Tucker (Janice) and Warren Tucker (Moya); her sister-in-law Sarah Tucker; her children, Judi Howell (Gordon), Randy Hammond (Elsie), Nola Jefford (Howard) and Warrick Hammond (Margaret); her grandchildren, Steven (Jamie), Trevor (Denise), Lindsay (Stephen), Courtney (Brandon), Robyn (Kody), Jason (Ashley), Leslie (Stephen), Daniel (Danielle) and Marianne (David); and her great grandchildren, Lauren, Georgia, Lela, Ava, Jordan (Hayley), Hunter, Bridget and Oliver.

Flowers will be gratefully accepted, or donations may be made to the St Philips Anglican Church, The Salvation Army Glenbrook Lodge, or a charity of your choice.
