He was predeceased by: his mother Isabel Smallwood (Steele); and his son Leonard Janet. He is survived by: his father Charles Smallwood; his siblings, Joan (late Fred) and David; his children, Judy (Ken), Elaine (late Lorne), Barbara, Todd (late Lorraine), Kim (Fern) and Lee (Wendy); his grandchildren, Eric, Robert, Natasha, Kristi, Keenen and Karlene; his great grandchildren, Gunnar, Maxx and Nixon; his friend Martin Gaulton; and his brother-in-law Fred Sullivan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
