With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lillian M. Mercer (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on August 18, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Upshall and Susie Upshall; her husband Frederick Mercer; her siblings, Ruby MCarthy and Elmer Upshall; and her son-in-law Boyd Mundon.

She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Coady (Gerry), Viola Mundon (late Boyd), Diane Spurrell, Fred Mercer (Lynn) and Valerie Pinksen (Warrick).
