She was predeceased by : her husband Jimmy Foley; her sister Lillian Marnell; her parents, Robert Abbott and Margaret Abbott; her brother Robert Abbott; her parents-in-law, Jim and Louise Foley; her brother-in-law Donny Foley; and her friend Flora Crane.

She is survived by : her daughters, Sheri (Colin) and Shannon (Ken); her grandchildren, Damion (Keila), Whitley (Colby) and Chauncey (Dominic); her great grandchildren, Madison, Amelia, Alice and Jude; her brothers, Tony (Rose Ann), Jimmy (Joanne) and Bruce; her siblings-in-law, Jim Marnell, Sandra, Dorothy and Patsy (Jerry); and her close friends, Ruth and Frances. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Salvation Army West Citadel (174 Mundy Pond Rd, St. John's, NL A1E1V3).
