Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lynn Dorothy Hanames (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away at the age of 87, on October 18, 2025. She was predeceased by: her husband James Fredrick Hanames; her parents, George Collins and Mae Collins; her siblings, Jack, Flo, Elsie, Evelyn and Francis; and her in-laws, Herb and Doreen Dawe.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Royal (John), Jim, Joe (Kim), Dena Stone (Jim), Suzann (Melvin Hicks) and Lisa; her pet Cuddles; her close friends, Betty Peddle, Gwen Frances, Mary Whitten, Violet, Fred Winsor, Lamont and Debbie Hanames; and her in-laws, Debbie Hanames, Lamont, Fred Winsor, Violet, Mary Whitten, Gwen Frances and Betty Peddle. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Carnell's Chapel (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B3P2). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Anglican Cemetery (23-1 Empire Ave, St. John's, NL A1C3E4).
