She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick Bannister; her parents, Peter Traverse and Ellen Traverse; and her siblings, Katherine Leonard, Rose Best, Anthony, Jerome and Eric Traverse.

She is survived by: her children, Fred (Gerada), Roy (Heather), Eric (Cathy), Cyril, Ruby Hearn (Francis), Judy Chaytor (Dave), David and Brian; her grandchildren, Michael, Scott (Alice), Matthew (Maryline), Danielle (Chris), Robert, Corinne (Shannon), Nicole, Lindsey (Chris), Kelly (Kyle), Christopher, Ashlee and Sonia (Dustin); her great grandchildren, Lilly-Lynn, Connor, Chloe, Ava, Jessica, Adrian, Jasmine and Ethan; her siblings, Martin Traverse and Helen Norman (Mike); and her sisters-in-law, Josephine Traverse and Evelyn Morgan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
