We bid farewell to Malcolm Norman Butt (St John's, Newfoundland), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 7, 2026 at the age of 92. Malcolm touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Butt (Antle); and his parents, Florence (Pynn) and Norman Butt. He is survived by: his children, Rhonda, Carla (Paul Blackwood) and Roger (Grant McNeil); his granddaughter Melissa Spurrell (Mark); his children, William, Alexander, Dr. Amanda Blackwood (Colin Viertelhausen) and Jessica Rousseau; his granddaughter Stella; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Dicks (Dominic), Marjorie Clark, Fred Vail and James Milani; and his friend Mason. He is also survived by her 11 sisters, one brother and their partners.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Mark's Anglican Church (203 Logy Bay Rd, St. John's, NL A1A3T7).
