Margaret Ann McDonald Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Ann McDonald (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on September 20, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Brian McDonald; her children, Lena (Kenworth Corkum) and Terry (Arianna); her parents, Henry Harder and Margaret Harder; her siblings, John Harder (late Pat), James Harder (late Patricia), Fred Harder (Elke), Chris Harder, Kathy (David Connell) and Mary Jane (John Pekar); her cousin Marianne Fournier; her uncle Bruce; and her aunt Anne MacDonald. She was also cherished by Mom has many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
Flowers for her memorial mass and donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association and Canadian Institute for the Blind (CNIB) are warmly welcomed in her honor.
