It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Irene (Moulton) Maloney (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustus Moulton and Mary Jane Moulton; her husband Patrick; her brothers, Arthur (Anne), Clarence (Louise), Harold (Florence) and Gordon; and her in-laws, Aidan (Eva), Brian (Elizabeth) and Mary.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Jane, Patricia (Stephen Grainger) and Peggy; her grandchildren, Justin Grainger (Kelly) and Amy Grainger (Kevin Gironnay); her great grandchildren, Declan and Bennett Grainger; her sister-in-law Joan; her great grandchild Gironnay; and her close friend Bill Finn. She is also survived by her 15 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Teresa's Church (120 Mundy Pond Rd, St. John's, NL A1E1V1).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Diabetes Canada or a charity of one's choice.
