We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2025, at the age of 92, Martin Francis Clooney (St John's, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Maureen. He is survived by: his children, Judith (Steven), William and Gregory (Patricia); his siblings-in-law, Kay Wadden (late Patrick), Harry Megann (late Rosemarie) and Eleanor (late John); and his friend Betty Coughlan (late Leonard).
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Basilica Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, Militar (200 Military Rd, St. John's, NL A1C5G9).
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
