Mary Lorraine Squires Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2026, at the age of 85, Mary Lorraine Squires (St John's, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Everett; her parents, Allan Adams and Alice Adams; and her siblings, Gladys Harris, Jim, Frank, Byron and Nina.

She is survived by: her children, Trevor (Carla) and Lorelei Billings (Shawn); her grandchildren, Dahlia and Alex; her pets, Maggie and Meeka; and her in-laws, Norma Adams, Lillian Thomas (Gilbert), Benetta Sparkes (Leonard) and Guy Squires (Anne).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Barrett's Chapel (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A burial will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery (53 James Ln, St. John's, NL A1E3H3).
