Mary Mildred Sturge Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Mildred Sturge (St John's, Newfoundland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2025 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Mildred Sturge to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her sons, Gary Keith and Donald Roy; her husband Arthur; and her daughter Janice. She is survived by: her daughters, Beverley Radford (William) and Irene Sturge (Scotty); her son-in-law Craig; her sisters, Sophie Clarke and Shirley Moores; and her grandchildren, Keith Radford Virginia (Nicola), Laura Sparrow (Noel), Adam Tilley (Alex) and Steven Cowan. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cowan Heights United Church (141 Frecker Dr, St. John's, NL A1E4W1).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made in Mary's honor to the Autism Society of Newfoundland or to Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
