It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary (Whitey) White (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on November 21, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence White and Terrence White; her brothers, Alphonsus and David; and her close friends, Tommy Sexton and Ron Hynes.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Greg Malone; her sons, Django (Rachel Sun) and Dashiell (Noelle); her grandson Rudi; her sister Marian (Beni Malone); and her niece Anahareo (Marco Doelle). She is also survived by six sisters and three brothers, numerous special nieces and nephews and a wide circle of close friends.
Her enormous contribution to Newfoundland culture is legendary.
