Maude Janes Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on November 21, 2023, at the age of 92, Maude Janes (St John's, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Janes; her parents, Abner Blackwood and Hilda Blackwood (Stokes); her siblings, Peter (Edwina), Gus (Cherry), Joe (Alma), Leaze (Evelyn), Bob (Syretha), Ross (Gertie), Stella (Ron Roberts) and Neta (Phillip Burry); and her granddaughter-in-law Wanda Richards.

She is survived by: her daughter Eileen; her son-in-law Jerry Riche; her grandchildren, Steven, Laura, Erin (Michael Foley) and Matthew (Lauren Mina); her great grandchildren, Christopher and Rowan Foley; her sister Sadie Barefoot (late Carl); her sister-in-law Eleanor Blackwood; and her uncle Steven. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
