It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxwell Chafe (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on November 20, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maxwell Chafe to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Frederick Chafe and Stella Chafe; his siblings, Eric Chafe and Hazel Squires; and his sister-in-law Mary Chafe.

He is survived by : his sisters, Sarah Pack (late Howard) and Marion Chafe (late Donald); his brother-in-law Frank Squires; his nieces and nephews, Glenda Pack (Peter), Terry Chafe, David Chafe (Bridget), Douglas Chafe (Virginia), Gloria Lee (Ralph), Eric Chafe, Steven Chafe (Amanda), Rennie Squires, Valerie Squires (Steve) and Jennifer Squires (Adam); and his cousin Robert Whitten.
