He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Boland and Mary Boland (Hickey); his parents-in-law, Rudolph and Mary O'Keefe; his sister Kay; and his brother-in-law Rudolph O'Keefe.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadette; his children, Michelle Hebbard (David) and Michael Boland (Colinda); his grandsons, Matthew Hebbard (Lou-Anne), John and Liam Boland; his brothers, Martin (Peg) and Pat (Mary); and his siblings-in-law, Paula Pike (late Cliff), Lillian McOuat (Alan), Carmel Richardson, Catherine Brown (late Noel), Dot O'Keefe, Ed O'Keefe (Lucille) and John O'Keefe (Sue).
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Carnell's Funeral Home (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the 28th the Carnell Memorial Chapel (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3).
