She was predeceased by: her husband Richard T. Abbott; her parents, Frances Hutchings and Henry Hutchings; and her siblings, Leighton, Geraldine, Wilbert, Donald, Ruth and Eric.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly (Kenneth Bartlett), Richard (Fedva) and Norine (Steve Bannister); her grandchildren, Cynthia (Matthew Rushton), Keith (Susan), Glenn (Stephanie), Matthew (Melissa), Sarah (Dylan Burton) and Eliza; and her great grandchildren, Caleb, Anna, Abby, Kaitlyn, Neil, Tyberius, Aurora and Isaac.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation.
