She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Penney (Harold Ellis) and Johnny Penney. She is survived by: her husband John Penney; her siblings, Suzanne Ellis, Colleen, Renee (Trevor), Nate, Ravyn and Greg Ellis; her aunts, Kathleen Hall and Jeanette Pelley; and her friend Janice Neary.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the 8th Carnell's Funeral Home (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rainbow Riders, Salvation Army, or to a charity of one's choice.
