We are sad to announce that, on January 15, 2024, at the age of 90, Noreen Bridget (Murphy) Lewis (St John's, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Moore and Patrick Murphy. She is survived by: her husband Dr. John Lewis; her children, Philip, Peter (Tracey Shave), John (Madeleine LeBlanc), Mary, Stephen and Leah; and her grandchildren, Marika, Patrick, Liam, Everett, Sarah, Anaïs, Ella Ray, Elsa and Felix. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and in-laws along with many friends.
She received the 2018 YWCA Lifetime Achievement Award recognizing her many contributions to community work in Newfoundland and Africa.
