He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine; his parents, Fannie Ryan and Orlando Ryan; his siblings-in-law, Jeanette (Warren Hudson) and Edmund Diamond; and his parents-in-law, Laura and Clayton Diamond.
He is survived by: his children, Robert (Lynn) and Heather (Randy Mercer); his grandchildren, Kimberley and Christopher Ryan (Kaitlyn); his great grandchild Layla Ryan; and his siblings-in-law, Cora Diamond and Kevin Diamond (Jean). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
