He was predeceased by: his parents, Rod Burt and Stella Burt; his brother Clayton; his close friend Shirley; and his wife Nellie.
Flowers are greatly accepted but in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul's name to the Cuddle Bed Project for Palliative Care through the Health Care Foundation (Charitable Registration Number: 85699 2334 RR0001) or to St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Bay de Verde.
