He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gardiner and Gertrude Gardiner. He is survived by: his children, Mark, Amanda (Ryan Armstrong) and Stefanie (Adam Groves); the mother of his children Donna; his grandchildren, Jacob, Amelia, Gwyn Armstrong, Alex and Sara Groves; his sister Brenda (John Gardner); his nieces, Jane and Clare (Kalo); his friend Cynthia Kettle; Susan Pye (Shane).
