He is survived by: his wife Sherrie Yi Komiak; his sons, Adam and Jacob Komiak; his brother James Komiak; his nephew Zachary Komiak of Marrimack; his parents-in-law, Zhidong Xiao and Longmei Chen; and his brother-in-law Xing Xiao.
