He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Daniel and Gertrude Reddy; his mother Gertrude Plyler; his brother Gerald "Gerry" Reddy; his nephews, Gerry, Paul and Billy; and his uncle Danny Reddy.

He is survived by: his children, Tanya, Robert (Cathy) and Darryl; his grandchildren, Tyler, Robert, Stephen, William, Kayden and Brionna; his sisters, Rose Parmenter (Ralph) and Lynn (Tammy); his sister-in-law Elizabeth; his aunt Francis Spry; his nephews, Christopher and Kyle; and his close friend Joanne Murrins. He is also survived by other cousins, extended relatives, and friends.
