He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter and Josephine; his wife Kim; his children, Eli, Josie and April Doucette; his sister Sonja; his aunts and uncles, Kay, Aggie, Joan, Sam and Gordon; and his cousin Paul.
He is survived by: his son Sean.
In lieu of flowers, a scholarship with Memorial University has been established entitled "The Sean Tiller Traditional Music Award Endowment Fund".
