He was predeceased by : his parents, Leslie Caravan and Phyllis Caravan. He is survived by : his wife Cathy Corbett Caravan; his children, Katie and Nicholas; his stepson Stephen Ryan [Erin]; his pet Ginger; his sisters, Lois Anne (Noel Oates), Janice McDonald and Paulette (Tom St Croix); his mother-in-law Marjorie Corbett; his siblings-in-law, Rhonda (Dave Dyer), Sheilagh (Bill Burnett), Allan Corbett (Cheryl), Francis Corbett (Yvonne) and Paul Corbett; his uncle Don; and his brother Bob. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions the Celebration of Phillips Life will be held at a future date.
