She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Barfoot; her parents, Gordon Vaters and Jessie Vaters; and her brothers, Eugene, Perry, Harris (Louise) and Irvin Vaters.

She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, George (Eileen), Clarence Barfoot (Beryl), Edna (Buck), Jaroma and Dulcie Little John (Andy); her daughters, Daphne Rodgers (Paul) and Wanda French (Dennis); her grandchildren, Douglas, Paula Rodgers, Melissa Richards (Shane) and Max French; her brothers, Lindbergh (Loretta) and Lionel Vaters (Rosemary); and her sister-in-law Ruby Vaters. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
