It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis (Brazil) Browne (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on May 3, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Will and Bernice Brazil; her siblings, Anna Trainor and John Brazil; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Kenny, Tom Greene and Clo Brazil.

She is survived by: her husband Frank; her children, Jennifer (Glenn), Carla (Wayne) and Patrick (Krista); her siblings, Mary Kenny (Tom), Martin Brazil (Jose) and Tom Brazil (Anita); and her siblings-in-law, Gloria Brazil, Marguerite Greene, Mary Bennett (Ambrose), Rita Browne, Raymond (Carolyn), Jack (Theresa), Pat (Karen) and Dennis Trainor. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Renews Church Committee or a charity of one's choice or simply do an act of kindness to help a neighbor or stranger in need.
