It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Bursey (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on July 30, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Roy; her granddaughter Erin; her parents, Maxwell Perry and Lillian Perry; and her siblings, Lillian Vardy, Marjorie Rees, Florence 'Doll Bennett, Dorothy Werth, Gordon Perry and Merle Perry.

She is survived by: her close friend James B. Cole; her children, Glenn Bursey (Jackie), Desiree Lane (Nick), Debbie Bursey (Carlos Rivera), Philip Bursey (Jacqueline) and Pamela Bursey (Scott Fitzgerald); her brother Bruce Perry; her grandchildren, Andrew Bursey (Denika), Colin Bursey (Brooke), Stuart Bursey (Jenna), Adam Bursey, Eliza Bursey, Marcela Rivera (Matthew), Alex Rivera, Grace Fitzgerald and Clark Fitzgerald; her great grandchild Nolan Bursey; and her sisters-in-law, Mona Greenwood, Shirley Bursey, Helen Perry and Sue Bursey. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
