It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Prescott Hazen Dines (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on June 2, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Katherine; and his siblings, Sherman, Allan, Bernice, Gladys, Mary and Ethel.
He is survived by: his wife Annie; his children, Dale and Donna; his grandsons, Matthew (Emma) and Nicholas; and his siblings, Vera, Gloria, Margaret, Joyce (Calvin) and Charlie.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Crossing Church (314 Topsail Rd, St. John's, NL A1E2B5).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Crossing Church in his memory.
