Primrose Bishop Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Primrose Bishop (St John's, Newfoundland), who passed away on October 21, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Bishop; her sister Cynthia Riche; and her siblings-in-law, Yvonne Ivany and Dick Riche. She is survived by: her daughter Linda Bishop; her brother Ira Bridger (Leigh); her brother-in-law David Bishop (Frances); her nephews, Jason Bridger and Teigan Follett; her close friends, Bernice Robbins and Doreen Hookey; and her sibling's children, Tina Riche (Randy Follett) and Edward Riche.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carnell's Funeral Home (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Carnell Memorial Chapel. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery (53 James Ln, St. John's, NL A1E3H3).
