He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Spurrell (Nee Codner); his parents, Augstus Spurrell and Gertrude Spurrell; his siblings, Florence Delaney (Leo), Lorraine McGuire (Jim), Ronald Spurrell (Helen), Augustus (Ben), Kevin Spurrell (Marie) and Infant Francis Spurrell; and his brother-in-law Leo Rose (Al).
He is survived by: his sons, Raymond Jr. (Jackie), Andre (Jennifer) and Kenny (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Alyssa, Matthew, Hailey and Kate; and his sister Mary Rose.
