He was predeceased by: his parents, Llewellyn Crane and Hilda Crane (Pike); his sisters, Mary (Stratford Pike) and Phyllis (Ernest Pocock); and his parents-in-law, George and Julia Hedges (Ash).
He is survived by: his wife Flora (Hedges); his brothers-in-law, Noel Hedges (late Daphne) and George Hedges; and his nieces and nephews, David Pocock (Carol Ann), Stuart Pocock (Karen), Stephen Pike, Blair Hedges (Danielle), Linda Walker (Al), Stephanie Harlick, Sonya Hedges and Cindy Wilson (Robert).
